Public Act 103-0488 was signed into law August 4, 2023. This law states starting August 4, 2023 through August 31, 2025, no candidate completing a teacher preparation program or other candidate is required to pass a teacher performance assessment.
Applicants who were previously marked deficient for the EdTPA can request an update to their evaluation by submitting the 83-16 ISBE form.
