Short-Term Approval for Teachers at All Grade Levels

You may be eligible to obtain a short-term approval for teachers at all grade levels which is a temporary, non-renewable credential, if you meet the following requirements:

Hold a valid PEL endorsed in a teaching field
Submit ISBE Form 73-96
ONE of the following:
- 9 semester hours of coursework in the applicable content area
- A passing score on the applicable content area test
