If you have a foreign credential, you must have it evaluated before it can be used for licensure purposes in the state of Illinois. The Illinois State Board of Education has provided a list of approved companies: click here to view.
If you are obtaining a paraprofessional or substitute license, the evaluation may be a summary or course-by-course.
If you are obtaining a professional educator license (PEL), the evaluation must be course-by-course.
