College Coursework as Professional Development

Modified on Thu, Jan 4 at 2:26 PM

The Illinois State Board of Education will accept college coursework as professional development only if the coursework is from a regionally accredited Illinois community college or an Illinois university/college with an approved educator-degree program.

Coursework completed through an out-of-state institution may not be used towards professional development unless approved by an Illinois Approved Professional Development Provider.
