When you are creating a permit and trying to assign an architect or engineer there name is grayed out and has the error unable to use due to license being expired. This means that they need to login and update their profile within the permit system with the new licenses expiration date. Only the architect or engineer will be able to update that in their profile. They can follow the link below to learn how to manage their account.
