What is the status of my license/application?

To check the status of your license or application:

1. Login to your ELIS account at: https://www.isbe.net/
2. Click on "Credentials"
3. Locate the credential in question on the "Credentials" page. If you hold a Professional Educator License (PEL), click "select" to view all endorsements. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see approvals.
4. Refer to the "Status Code" column to see the status of the license or application. Use the following chart to understand what the status code means: https://www.isbe.net/Pages/license-status.aspx
